This isn't actually a site about the best birds in the world

Eventually it will be, among other things, somewhere to document IT related stuff - e.g. a migration from an aging, inefficient & noisy Dell Poweredge server (with 3.5" mechanical disks) running Unraid to a cluster of Raspberry Pi SBCs - decreasing power consumption & hopefully increasing reliability & also performance if/where possible.

I will do this project with a "cattle not pets" approach where all configuration will be done using Ansible and Hashicorp tooling, so if a Pi fails it can simply be replaced and we carry on.
